Basic Food Hygiene Training
The Basic Food Hygiene training course awards candidates with the Basic Food Hygiene Certificate of the Charted Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH), a first-level qualification in food hygiene which is nationally recognized.
Everyone who works with food needs to update their food hygiene knowledge occasionally to make sure that they are working to the current law and accepted good practices. The overall aims of the Basic Food Hygiene training course is to remind candidates about how to work with food in a hygienic manner that prevents contamination and protects consumers from food poisoning, and to ensure that they are understand the key aspects of current legislation, good practice and food safety issues.
This course is assessed by the trainer.
