AED
AED stands for Automated External Defibrillator.
AED training teaches how to recognise life threatening cardiac arrhythmias and treat them with a defibrillator.
The Basic Food Hygiene Certificate of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) is a first-level qualification in food hygiene and is nationally recognised.
Emergency First Aid training teaches a person how to cope in a crisis, and administer emergency first aid in a number of situations. The appointed first aider can deal with injury and illness while waiting for the emergency services.
Fire Extinguisher Awareness training teaches how to recognise the different types of extinguisher. A practical demonstration on fire extinguisher useage is available.
Attendees to this training course will understand the cause of fatigue, strain and injury and be aware of the parts of the body, which are most at risk when lifting. They will also understand the six key principles of safe handling and lifting.
Paediatric Basic Life Support training teaches how to care for ill or injured babies and children.
It teaches how to recognise and treat common medical conditions such as asthma and seizures. This course is aimed at those people who look after babies and children.
